The original trails were built in 2019 by different groups, with some intermediate features. With significant local government and community support, SCC contracted Dynamic Trailworx to rebuild most of the trails in Fall 2025. Rocky Knoll has also enjoyed support from local Scout Troop 833 - Calvin Olson and other scouts reinforced a section of eroding trail in 2024, and Tristan Lauer led 26 volunteers to add constructed MTB skills features for his Eagle Scout Project in late 2025.
